If I had to vote, writing would be way up there on my short list of the great things to do.
If I had to vote, rewriting would be way down there on my favorite things to do. It definitely would not make my short list.
But rewriting and rewriting and etc is really how a great piece of writing is created. I remember hearing that Hemingway said he rewrote the last page of THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA, more than thirty times. Supposedly some reporter asked him why. "To get the words right," he said.
So I'm in the middle of rewriting my newest WIP, while still searching for the perfect title.
I want my readers to have a magic experience when they read my books. I don't care how much sweat and blood goes into the writing. When you open one of my books, or switch on your reading app, my aim is to make your trip so seamless that you don't even notice leaving your own comfortable world and entering mine.
Enjoy life, read a book.
